Do you think over population is the main cause of climate change ?

 

Almost all the country in the world face overpopulation problems . Like other country Bangladesh also suffer a lot due to overpopulation . Because every year more than two million people are being added to our population. This over growth of population has turned into population explosion. Climate change are inter connected with overpopulation because overpopulation destroy our balanced environment , they cut down forest land to increase there household . There are many causes of high rate of population growth in Bangladesh are ignorance, superstition, early marriage & lack of  female education. Over growth of population causes various problems like food problem, communication problem , education problems, unemployment problems, residential problems, health problems, medical problems etc they are mostly connected to climate change. 

Even people don't know how they destroy our world.  If we look at the other country in the world like Switzerland , the main annual temperature has increased by 1.6 degree c. between 1864-2008 with respect to 1961 - 1990 average condition. Over the past 100 years 1909 -2008 temperature increased by 0.12- 0.19 degree c. per decade . In the same condition if we look at the Bangladesh  climate change condition , it shows us that only 47 years  the temperatures in Bangladesh  have risen 0.5 degree c. between 1976 to 2019 . What can we see ? The report tells us the miserable condition of Bangladesh . If we are not concern this time , we will suffer a lot in future. So I think this is the time to do something about climate change in the world as well as our country also. In 2022 climate change in Bangladesh is a critical issue . In the 2020 edition of Germanwatch's Climate Change risk Index, it ranked seventh in the list of countries most affected by climate calamities during the period 1999-2018. Bangladesh's vulnerability to climate change impact is due to a combination of geographical factors, such as its flat, low- laying & socio- economic factors , including its high population density , levels of poverty , and dependence on agriculture.
